Our Auto-Ship Programs There are several on-going series of Cross Stitch designs that have become our customer favorites. They come from some of our favorite designers, and are released at regular intervals. | |||
Our auto-ship programs for these various sets let you be among the very first to receive them, as soon as they're released! We do add a nominal shipping charge to them, but since they generally go US mail, it's not cost-prohibitive each time. Choose several options with our autos:

  Libertyville from Raise the Roof and Crescent ColoursRaise the Roof has a new 4-part series named Libertyville... and 'Home From Sea' is the first part of the design!!! 'See our flag waving from high on the hill... another fine day in Libertyville.' The ship in the harbor, the charming downtown main street, the farm in the 'burbs', and finally the little sheep grazing on a grassy knoll of tiny Quaker motifs! Everything in here is really cute. With an overall stitch count of 71 x 275, it finishes approx 4-1/2 x 17 on 32ct linen. The charts are offered with Belle Soie Silks from Crescent Colours in rich shades of navys and browns... so far... and the Just Another Button Company button embellishments! Too Darn Cute!   Summer Seascapes from Country Cottage Needleworks and Crescent Colours Introducing Starfish Cottage, Part One in this fun seaside medley! Stitched with Belle Soie silks of Puritan Blue, Poison Apple, Beanstalk and Walk the Plank -- to name a few -- this celebrates the Summer Season at the shore! Offered as charts with silks... recommended linen is 28ct Star Sapphire, which is a luscious, softly shaded sea-foamy green/blue. Our Auto-ship will deliver you the other 4 designs as they are released in the upcoming months. | |||
Kris's Stitches -- From The HeartIntroducing #1 in a new set of leaflets -- 7 in all -- that celebrates the life of Kris Stott, a distributor of needlework items and mentor to many designers in our tiny and very personal stitching industry. Kris was a huge part of our community, and passed away very unexpectedly last March. Her daughter, Katy, has organized a set of 7 leaflets... each containing 9 designs, contributed by almost 70 designers to remember her. Each design is the same size, each uses the same color palette of Weeks Dye Works flosses, and can be stitched individually or together. Contributing to From The Heart are Katy, AB Designs, Twisted Threads, Sam Sarah Studio, With My Needle, Needle's Content, Deb Kirscht, and JBW Designs. You may not have known Kris... but you can easily see the love these people poured into their memories of her. Katy has grouped the designs by subject... wait till you see the Halloween pieces! Anyway, this is leaflet #1 of 7, each releasing every 8-ish weeks from now. Proceeds from the sale of Kris's Stitches Leaflets are going to several animal organizations for the care and adoption of homeless pets -- because Kris had a special love for anything with fur or feathers! Our preview of the first 3 leaflets at Market was a treat! | |||
Announcing Anniversaries of the Heart from Blackbird DesignsBlackbird is beginning a new series of house samplers during 2010. Full-sized leaflets each month... January through September... each 5 x 5 sampler celebrates special people and events that have touched your life. I especially like the borders on each... that generally go around only three sides of each sampler! Alphabets and numerals are included so you can personalize each. Stitch each house sampler individually on several different colors of linens, or put all 12 on one 1/2 yd piece of R & R 30ct Old Towne Blend linen -- layout diagrams are provided in each leaflet for that option. (We are offering the large chunk, but not the individual linens each month... as they all differ.) Luscious overdyed flosses, pretty houses and motifs. The final three designs, along with the two bonus panels will be printed in one larger multi-page book, similar to the rest of Blackbird's larger publications. That book -- containing the Oct, Nov and Dec designs will finish out this set late this year. Just AWESOME!!! | |||
 Green Flip-its! from Lizzie Kate  The first 3 of 6 small Flip-It designs are here, in Lizzie Kate's newest set that reminds us to GO GREEN! Be Kind to animals, Ride a bike, and Plant a tree... all fun things to do... each small part can be stitched individually, or set into the FREEBIE border design (available on Lizzie Kate's website to print for free), that says, 'Be well, Live Peaceably with the Earth.' Each individual card is embellished with a cute soft yellow miniature flower button... and the border features 4 more matching buttons. So... we have the Flip-It cards, along with the border embellishments, and even extra little flower buttons, if you need them! Our 'LK GREEN AUTO' will automatically send you the final three cards when they are released. | |||
 Announcing Pine Mountain's Expressions for 2010! PM is beginning a new set of pillow designs -- each month, a seasonal something full of words that match the month and season! January is a medley of 'New Year, Snow, and Brrr', features a little clock, knitted cap and mittens, a snowman and his sled... all in the 4 x 4 design area. Pine Mountain does all the work of pre-sewing the little fabric shams for us... all you do is stitch on the 10ct inset, and tie it around a re-useable pillow form. Zip-Zap! Check out Halloween and Christmas Expressions that we already have... the 2010 set begins with this new January design. | |||
 Today Was a Total Waste of Make-up! from Lizzie Kate QUITE familiar words some days!!! Lizzie Kate is beginning her next set of 4 Giggle Boxer silly-sayings designs... and this is the first! Offered as the chart with 27ct cream linen and a butter yellow button embellishment... we still have the original 4 designs available, and this just adds to the merriment -- whether you look good or NOT! If you were already on the Lizzie Kate Giggle Boxer Auto, please note.... Attention Giggle Boxer Auto-Ship Stitchers: Due to *operator error* (yeah... Lindy did it... and it's her fault!) we deleted your database! We can't auto-ship this next series to you, unless you re-register for it! Oh... so sorry about that!

Sampler Months: January and February from Little House Needleworks and Crescent Colours Little House and Crescent Colours are beginning another bi-monthly set of designs for 2010. (DIFFERENT from the Little House Ornaments of the Month.) Releasing in 6 parts, Jan and Feb arrive in early December, and are coming as the pair of charts with 6 complete skeins of Crescent's hand-dyed flosses. The designs are 69 x 69 stitches, so finish approx 4-1/2 inches square. ***You might want to purchase enough fabric AT ONE TIME to do the year of these. I think most anything will make them look darling -- just choose something YOU like to work on! If you choose a 14/28, you might want a fat half measure. I'm thinking this is a set that you'll want to MATCH... or else PLAN or two or three different fabrics... you sure don't want ONE month that is from a different dye lot of fabric!*** Available as the pairs -- you can pick them us as needed, or join our auto the get them all as they are released! 2010 Ornaments of the Month! from Little House Needleworks Beginning this December, we will have our first of Little House's new ornament set... in varying sizes, are offered in small chart format. The first is stitched on 30ct Weeks Cappuccino Linen in regular DMC flosses. Cute and quick! Fa-La-La is the first... the rest are a surprise!! NOTE: We're sold out of our first shipment of Pear Tree; more due in late next week. | |||
 Hootzi Humbug from Just Nan Well, WHOO can resist this darling little hooting owl? Introducing Hootzie Humbug -- Just Nan's newest tiny creation -- a four-sided little piece -- complete with stitching all around and a sparkely Charm Garden Owl Pin to match! The name 'Humbug' refers to the English name for a hard candy that is shaped like a little pyramid. A fun shape that is easy to construct, (REALLY!), Hootzi is stitched on 28ct Golden Sand Cashel Linen in DMC flosses, and three Sampler Threads. He's perched above a pumpkin patch, and his colors are a splash of Autumn Wonder!!! He comes as a small chart-pack, with complete assembly instructions, a gold topper ring, tiny plaid ribbon, and bits of glass beads -- all to finish approx 3 x 3! Perfect for an ornament or scissor fob! Hootzie is the introduction to Nan's newest set of 4 Humbug *shaped* designs releasing in 2010. January -- Winter Hearts, April -- Spring Frills, June -- Summer Wings and August -- Autumn Glory. Each of these 4 seasonal designs will include the Leaflet chart, embellishments and special Charm Pin -- limited to a release of 800 -- we're taking reservations for next season's auto of these fun little Humbugs! Island Cottage Thread Palette Prims from Island Cottage Needlearts  Introducing a new set of 7 Folk Art wooden thread palettes -- each a fun shape with differently shaped little holes -- and some pretty stitching in the center! The first design -- Angel Song -- will release November 16th. Designed by Island Cottage Needlearts (a new designer for us!) Angel Song is stitched over one thread of 30ct Weeks Dye Works Garnet linen. She is mounted on a demin-blue (matches Weeks Freedom Blue thread) hand-finished wooden thread palette measuring approx 6-1/2 x 3-3/4 inches. Because she's an angel, with stars on her background, her pallette features matching star-shaped holes for your threads! Each of the rest of the Pallette Prims come as a complete kit of linen, threads, chart and the painted palette prim with finishing instructions! Angel Song has now arrived. The next -- My Heart for You -- will release in late February of 2010... and we do know that another of the seven will be a Halloween design! | |||
 The Big Round Zipper! from Bent Creek Well, everyone knows Zippers aren't round... but they *can* gather, organize, and contain... all with their straight, little spines. (ZIPPERS... what on earth do they have to DO with anything anyway???) Bent Creek originally designed their collection of *Zipper Kits* and presented them in meshed plastic zippered pouches (hence the name Zippers). OK... years later... we now have tons of Zipper Kits... and this is the first of the new Big Round Zipper Series! Presented in *WHAT ELSE* but an 11 x 14 Zippered Pouch (for project storage) ... you get a simple round border featuring a verse that advises to 'Go With All Your Heart,' along with a big empty middle!!!   In the 5 additional smaller installment kits to come... that empty middle will be filled in with all sorts of fun places to go (with all your heart and...) with your favorite people!Stitched on 18ct linen with one strand of #5 Perle Cotton... this baby is HUGE and easy to see!!! Design measures approx 21-1/2 inches round, and is full of cross stitches and button embellishments. The kit contains the border chart, necessary #5 perle cottons, button embellishments and a huge 28 x 28 chunk of 18ct Natural Linen. 
Future kits will be offered every 8 weeks for $16 each, and will contain the inside charts, buttons, and all threads. So, of course, a new Auto-Ship is born!!! Life is good -- especially if you go into it with all your heart! | |||
 2009 Loose Feathers from Blackbird Designs Blackbird's first in their 2009 Loose Feathers Series of designs... this year, we are being treated to needlework accessory cases and pieces! Peacock Pinkeep is the first, and the leaflet includes a *bonus pattern* of matching Needlebook! Stitched on hand-dyed 28ct Light Grey/ Straw gingham linen, in Crescent's Belle Soie silks or DMC cottons, the box measures a generous 6 inches in diameter, and I remember it being about 3 inches high. Alphabet letters wrap around the sides, and the peacock adorns the top. The finishing instructions do not create a box that opens -- rather a firmly stuffed large 'cushion-box.' (You could always construct your lid to lift off...) Anyway, this year proves to be full of lovely needlework accessory pieces -- offered every other month -- in small leaflet format. (Anticipated costs for subsequent months -- low $20 range, including the fabrics.) We have an auto-ship set up, and can send you the hand-dyed linens called for each time, along with the chart. Charming! (Blackbird is doing a monthly set of mini-stockings, too... take a peek at those as well!) | |||
 
Prairie Schooler MonthsNovember, December, April and July have been released in this charming set of monthly leaflets by Prairie Schooler! Look at them... they all have little panels that can be interchanged within their designs... and offer
endless possibilities to make fun medleys for the seasons! NO word on how long Pam is going to take to release the rest of her months. Since these 4 have come out, and they are not in monthly order... our Auto-information is kind of sketchy! She never releases more than 2 of something in a series at a time... so I imagine we'll have 4 more shipments of 2 leaflets each, *at some point in the next year-ish or so!* Prairie Schooler never re-prints her designs once her initial press run sells out... so we're thinking this is the very best way to MAKE SURE you collect this whole set! | |||
Announcing the 2009 SamSarah Alphabet Baubles Beginning October of 2008, the letter A is celebrated with a cute set of apples! Stitched on 28ct Red/Natural Newport Linen, it finishes approx 4 x 4, and requires a bitty 9 x 9 special cut of the linen. November brings us B -- plump little bumblebees! Each month, you'll get the chart, clay pack and cut of linen. The auto will go on for 26 months... so, if you don't want all the letters... just let us know which ones you DO want! And... if you STILL don't know... just watch the website every month for the newest! Prices TBA, but I assume close to the 2008 pricing.

Biscornu Designs from The Sweetheart Tree This delightful set of designs is offered in kit format. Each Biscornu is stitched on both sides, and is deceptively easy to assemble. (Part of the charm of these, I think!) Each complete kit contains the charts, flosses, buttons and beads and finishing instructions. The Sweetheart Tree has a set of small matching scissor fobs that released the previous two years -- these pin cushions match all the fobs already released!!! Our Auto-Ship begins with kit #7... these 6 have already been released... and we figured it was time for an auto-ship!!!

| The Country-French-Inspired Alphabet Series from The Sweetheart Tree Such a delicate and elegant set of alphabet letters... each of these is offered as complete kits, full of luscious whites, ecru, and taupe threads and embellishments. Each features a pretty, lacy filigree corner decoration, and lots of tiny motifs that match the featured letter! (Well, C is for Kitty IS a stretch... but it's cute anyway! Stitched on 28ct Summer Khaki Cashel linen... so far, each kit has also contained a bit of Rainbow Gallery's Wisper thread -- a furry one -- to make the tiny animals so soft! Beautiful studies in a tone-on-tone white and ecru! Finishing approx 5 x 5 each... they are absolutely beautiful... and a really good value, too! No word yet on how long it'll take to do the entire alphabet... we're starting an auto for the rest of these... because they are so neat. If you want to tell me certain letters you want... rather than the entire set... it's OK! I can filter my database, and automatically send your preferred letter when it's released, and you don't have to worry about keeping track of release date! | |||

 Secret Needle Night from The Silver Needle  These are our shop-exclusive monthly kits! Each month, the first Wednesday, we release a specialty thread kit that we have designed ourselves, chosen fun fabric, threads, and embellishments, and kitted the whole thing! We even include a recipe for the desert served that evening!They're always on large count material, always seasonal or holiday in theme, and limited edition kits. When each Secret Needle Night is finished, its kit is retired forever! We've been offering Secret Needle Night for almost 8 years now... and have the past three years or so of projects up on our Secret Needle Night page.
