Here's a cute little snowman bringing a sack full of goodies! Stitched on 32ct (Confederate Gray?) Belfast with a combination of DMC and overdyeds, and garnished with a snowflake button, this offers a new finishing technique for Bent Creek! After stitching is finished, you'll gather the linen around a 3-1/2 inch round finishing form (we love those metal forms!) and then glue it to a piece of felt. The felt included in the kit is a gunmetal gray -- to match his hat.

Wouldn't a piece of Weeks Lancaster Red or Sweet Potato (that matches his nose) Houndstooth wool be pretty behind that black? If you're a whiz at making twisted cord, you could even dress the linen edge a little! A neat splash of color against your tree! The complete kit includes the chart, linen, flosses, flake button, one finishing form disk, felt and hanging ribbon. Cute and Quick!

This is a tiny companion to 'Are You a Little Scared?' It is another 29 x 31 design that is really cute, especially next to its buddy! Offered as the complete kit, you get 18ct Natural Linen, and bits of Weeks, DMC and Anchor #5 Perle Cottons, along with a star button for the nighttime sky.

Make this guy into a tiny cube, like 'Scared' and stack 'em on a windowsill. They are stitched on different fabrics, but they definitely look darling together!

Well, the ghouls, bats and jack-o-lanterns in this certainly are not helping to keep one calm! Bent Creek has a quick design that is a mere 33 x 33 stitches. Well, everyone knows Zippers aren't round... but they *can* gather, organize, and contain... all with their straight, little spines. (ZIPPERS... what on earth do they have to DO with anything anyway???) Bent Creek originally designed their collection of *Zipper Kits* and presented them in meshed plastic zippered pouches (hence the name Zippers). Hamming it up in one of those cheap picture booths you find at the Fair... they're all clowning around, and even though you're not in there with them... you're having fun just enjoying the strip of pics!!!

This year's Snow Globe design is here... a cozy polar bear, curled up on his bed of ice!!! This is Bent Creek's 9th Annual Globe... (they have a Wedding and Baby set, but those aren't on the same 18ct linens, so I didn't count those.) always offered as a full kit, always on 18ct Natural linen, always with perle cottons, so stitching is a BREEZE!

Some of their most endearing designs... most of these include glass seed beads for the falling snow inside the globe. Kind of hard to see on this pic, but they're there. He just looks all balled up and really warm... and just possibly waiting for Santa with his decorated tree!

The third in this small series of designs... remember all the silly photobooths you used to pay 25 cents to get into, for 4 pictures? (OK... maybe $1.00?) THIS is what you got! Nobody looking... crammed on that little bench... the camera kept shooting away, whether you were ready or not!!!

Frankenstein and his pudgy ghost friend are in there -- up to no good, I am sure! Offered as a chart/linen and button eye embellishments, this finishes approx 2 x 7 on the provided 32ct. Stitch it for a skinny wall!

Advice for Life... all in a bitty 2 x 8 piece! Stitch this for the fisherman in your life! Cute and quick, the little fish in the bottom right-hand corner is garnished with only TWO gold seed beads, but he steals the day!!! The puppy in the boat is pretty cute too...!

Another Photobooth Silliness Session... caught on film! Bent Creek has stuffed a chicken, hen, eggs and a baby chick into that teeny photo booth... and look what happened! The first pic is fine, the second probably shouldn't be shown to their moms, in the third... someone has ruffled the curtain because there was too much noise and laughing going on in there... and the last one, well, it's time to settle down.

Themed after all those fun photo booths we used to do (but I think they STILL have them!), this is a quick 2 x 7 piece stitched on 32ct (provided) with your own overdyed flosses from your stash. The chart comes with the linen and three rose-colored button embellishments. Companion to the little snowmen -- the winter version -- this is Spring!

I think the title of this piece is a play on words from Bent Creek's other ROW pieces. It's a smaller version than most, but the animals featured are cute and different from what we normally see. The little hedgehogs are PRECIOUS!!!

Anyway, this design is offered in full kit format, with 32ct linen, DMC, Weeks and Gentle Art overdyeds, and a trio of small button embellishments. It finishes approx 7-1/2 x 2.

Another 'EWE' kit, this one reminds me of Nana from Peter Pan! The nanny sheep is wearing her nightcap, and bringing the necessary teddy bear to advise the sleep-ee to 'Sleep Sweet and Dream Big!'

Offered in full kit format of 25ct Natural linen, with DMC flosses, the teddy bear is stitched in Simply Wool hand-dyed wool from Gentle Art. The whole Black Sheep stitches approx 4 x 4.

Remember the fun shots that you get... all in a long strip... from one of those temporary photo booths? Well... we have two snowmen horsing around in one, and here are their pictures. Check out the second and third shots, which we all think are darling! Bent Creek is starting a new set of PhotoBooth designs... this one is the first. No word on how many, or how long they'll take to design... so just pick 'em up as you see them.

Here's a row of snowmen, out in the front yard of their igloo! Presented in kit format by Bent Creek, this finishes approx 7-1/2 x 2 on the provided 32ct Summer Khaki Belfast Linen. It is stitched with overdyed Sampler Threads and bits of DMC -- included in the kit.

Cute and quick, stitch it and perch it on a windowsill to cut the draft! (The snowmen and igloo will be very happy there!) Kit includes the chart, linen, needle and threads.

Bent Creek does an annual Snow-Globe design... and this is our 8th Annual treat for 2008! A charming gingerbread house, complete with the billowing snow swirling inside the globe, this year's is perched on a peppermint base! Offered as a complete kit, it's stitched on 18ct Blue Ridge linen in hand-dyed and solid shades of #5 Perle Cotton. Embellishments include 2 peppermints and a wrapped hard candy. The kit includes the chart, linen, threads and embellishments.

(In this day of one-over-one stitching, you could resurrect one of your older 'used up' kits and do it over one and make a teeny-weeny ornament! How cool would that be?) Anyway, look for Nativity, Penguin, and Christmas Tree Globes, along with Santa, Snowman, Cabin in the Woods, and Red Bird Globes. (Baby and Wedding Globes don't count as annuals, because they don't contain the threads.) Very cute!

Kind of an unusual finishing treatment inspired this set of designs... you're supposed to stitch these on the provided perforated paper, and then clip them to a small clipboard. Designs are cute, jury is still out on that finishing bit.

Each kit comes with the chart and some paper button pin embellishments. I think this guy has potential, stitched on a dark fabric, nix the border and his legs, feet and snow. Make him an ornament, and use the paper buttons up in the bow embellishment! How's that for thinking outside the box?

The next sheep/ewe kit by Bent Creek, this one celebrates the arrival of that darling baby sheep on top of Mama! The complete kit offers charts to personalize, and BOTH Old Blue and Antique Rose overdyed flosses to stitch whichever suits your new arrival.

Lessons for Life... big and bold! Bent Creek's multiple-part Big Zipper is finally finished! Stitched on 18ct Natural Linen, it finishes a whopping 24 inches square, I believe. Offered in lots of separate little kits, you get that main border and fabric in the first installment, and then each block comes in another package. A little confusing... but the finished piece is worth the efforts!

Lots of #5 Perle cottons and overdyed flosses, and a smattering of little button embellishments. We did have an auto-ship on this that is now ending... but you can still pick up any individual parts as you need them!

Well here are Bonnie & Clyde, George & Martha, Fred & Wilma... or Mark & Michelle! Bent Creek has released another cute sheep design... only this one celebrates a favorite couple! Check out her garter!

Offered as a complete kit, it includes the chart, 25ct natural linen, flosses (some overdyed) and a little white Heart of Love clay button! Basic and trendy colors... simple... they finish approx 5 x 6.

The second 'Clip Art' design by Bent Creek... the premise behind these is TOTALLY NO FINISHING INVOLVED! Stitch it and stick it on a clip-board! Offered as the pack of chart, 14ct brown perforated paper and two metal lapel pins as embellishments, this is stitched using your stash of overdyed flosses.

It finishes approx 4 x 6... and since finishing in *non-existent*... it's a little quicker than most! Cute for a scrapbook of Summer Camp!

Bent Creek is releasing a new design, primitive and patriotic, just in time for the summer! Americana Angel is floating amidst the stars... she's funky and slightly 'askew!' We decided her cheeks really look like she's carrying a skein of floss between her teeth... a stitcher after our own hearts!!

Included with the chart is the 32ct Natural Linen, Crescent Colours overdyed flosses, star embellishments and the needle. Once again, we have a chubby little sheep 'dressed' for the season, that joins Bent Creek's set of seasonal ewes! This one is full of sandy beaches and blue rolling ocean waves. The latest seasonal Ewe from Bent Creek... Winter joins Gobble Gertie, Smitten, Lucky... the whole set of quiet little sheep. This one looks like a winter coverlet, and has a trio of tiny snowmen on his back -- waving a snowflake flag! This is the eighth of Bent Creek's little Holiday Sheep... and it's one of my favorites! We always get that quiet sheep, who has something very busy going on, on his back! this time, it's an autumn squirrel, waving a leafy-acorny flag. Like some of the others, this little guy has a fun and unique pattern in his body.

Offered as the complete kit of 25ct Natural Flax Linen, all the DMC and overdyed flosses, the chart, needle, and bitty brass acorn charm, he finishes approx 4 x 4-1/2. Cute!

Well, this trio of little seasonal sheep is coming right along!!! Here's Gertie, dressed for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday!!! She's the companion to Free Betsy and Betty Boo... and is a definite to anyone who loves sheep! Offered as a complete kit, Gobble Gertie is stitched on 25ct Dublin linen in several shades of Chestnut and Hazelnut Browns, and measures a bit over 4 x 4 -- including the feathers! Really, very cute!

For you chicken lovers... stitch Rosy Life! She's the newest Bent Creek Kit... replacing the Zippies series. She's stitched on 25ct linen in soft Antique Rose and Old Red Paint overdyeds, with lots of Harvest Basket tossed in. Rosy finishes approx 4 x 5... I just love that little chick up there looking out at us!!!

Complete kits, these are packaged in a plastic pouch with a zipper across the top -- hence the name: Zippers! Always stitched on 18ct linen, usually with #5 perle cottons, most of the designs each time include overdyed colors, or hand-made embellishments.
