| The 12 Days of Snowmen Poise your Punch Needles to make a cute set of 12 vintage-inspired snowmen ornaments. Finishing approx 3 x 4, each is punched using the same antique-flavored color palette of DMC and Weeks overdyed flosses , and is garnished with a few cream glass beads as the snowflakes. Mount onto pieces of Week's wool for a quick-finish, they're just simple and sweet. Each design is presented as the line drawing, so you'll need to trace it onto weaver's cloth from your stash. Included with each pattern, I've noticed, is a Christmas Cookie recipe! If the whole year isn't in your plans, choose one of two of these and make them into small cube stand-ups! Or make them into 2-sided ornaments! Very nostalgic snowmen faces, in old Christmas colors! | |

| Buttermilk Basin's Calendar Set Gosh, this is really cool! Punch the month, mount it on top of a piece of Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed wool -- its mat -- stuff it into the top of this special calendar frame... 'Xerox' off the included blank calendar page... and you're all set! Each monthly banner measures approx 3 x 7, and is punched with whatever size needle you want! (#3 usually goes faster than a #1) Anyway, after punching, attach to a piece of Weeks Wool -- color and pattern choices are many -- just choose something pretty from the matching flosses you've just used. The frame measures an overall 10 x 12, with the top opening approx 4 x 8, and the bottom 6 x 8. Re-use the frame every month... what a fun thing! If you're not into the frame and calendar thing... think about wedge-shaped blocks... they'd be fun perched on windowsills and book shelves. Each monthly pattern is offered as the line drawing, ready to trace onto ground fabric of your choice. You'll need to add flosses from your stash, a Schnigglet Cut of Weeks wool for each month's background, and one frame. | |
