Boysenbeauty is a rich rosy pink medley, Evergreen is a soft blue-green, Malted Milk is a soft cocoa brown -- not a lot of yellow in it, Slate is a soft, medium gray with lots of soft variation, Sundrenched Violets is a shade lighter than Boysenbeauty, and Tree Trunk is a rich, warm brown medley -- like the 435s in DMC. New Silks and CottonsYou can tell it's Summertime... and that Crescent is thinking of the tropics!!! Sharon has dyed three new silks and cottons that make me dream of an exotic vacation. Belle Soie Silks are 12-stranded spun silk, and feature hand-dyed color softness. New are Hula Skirt, Foo Foo Flamingo and Lara Lilac. Cottons are 6-strand floss.  Libertyville from Raise the Roof and Crescent Colours
Raise the Roof has a new 4-part series named Libertyville... and 'Home From Sea' is the first part of the design!!! 'See our flag waving from high on the hill... another fine day in Libertyville.' The ship in the harbor, the charming downtown main street, the farm in the 'burbs', and finally the little sheep grazing on a grassy knoll of tiny Quaker motifs! Everything in here is really cute. 
 With an overall stitch count of 71 x 275, it finishes approx 4-1/2 x 17 on 32ct linen. Sampler Months: January and February from Little House Needleworks and Crescent Colours Little House and Crescent Colours are beginning another bi-monthly set of designs for 2010. (DIFFERENT from the Little House Ornaments of the Month.) Releasing in 6 parts, Jan and Feb arrive in early December, and are coming as the pair of charts with 6 complete skeins of Crescent's hand-dyed flosses. The designs are 69 x 69 stitches, so finish approx 4-1/2 inches square. ***You might want to purchase enough fabric AT ONE TIME to do the year of these. I think most anything will make them look darling -- just choose something YOU like to work on! If you choose a 14/28, you might want a fat half measure. I'm thinking this is a set that you'll want to MATCH... or else PLAN or two or three different fabrics... you sure don't want ONE month that is from a different dye lot of fabric!*** Available as the pairs -- you can pick them us as needed, or join our auto the get them all as they are released! Each design features a different Scripture verse, and will include its necessary flosses to stitch on 14 or 28ct. Finishing approx 4 x 4, Wisdom features an apple basket stitched in deep, rich reds, mahogany, and some dark green. These would be neat stitched on a long bell-pull or in a horizontal strip... since we don't know how many will be in the complete set... plan on groups of six -- that way you're safe!
