My Pinkeep from Dessins DHC - click to see more My Pinkeep from Dessins DHC - click to see more My Pinkeep
Marie Suarez brings us this *exquisite* little pin keep design... you'll LOVE it! The kit contains a beautiful hand-carved bone medallion that measures approx 1-5/8 inches in diameter. You can see it... it takes up one entire side of the tiny round keep.

Next, you get a piece of linen banding -- it features your tiny heart stitching that wraps around the keep! We've never SEEN banding that is 7 stitches wide!!!!! Your initial is stitched on the included 40ct linen -- ALL 26 letters are charted for you inside their tiny vines. (not just the letters... you have 26 disks of floral initials in here!) My Pinkeep from Dessins DHC - click to see moreThere's felt, cardboard and batting in here, along with the finishing instructions, as well! You'll need to supply the linen and materials that makes the small case to store your precious keep, but those instructions are included, too.

The shop gals kind of went nuts over this piece when I brought it back from Market! It's so delicate, so unique, I think the medallion and banding are over-the-top cool, and it's a steal at $23!

Stitcher's Christmas Ornament Set from Dessins DHC - click to see moreStitcher's Christmas Ornament Set
This is a sweet trio of stitched ornaments that are finished into cute shapes! The stocking features a pocket to hold scissors -- too cute on your Christmas tree!!! There is a stocking cap shape, and the third is either a tape measure cover, or resembles a peppermint candy. Charted for DMC, they're worked on 32ct linen.

The finishing instructions are translated into English... but truthfully, the pictures are only dark copies... so you'll to rely on some of your own finishing talents for these (or find a really good friend!) The designs and shapes are really cute... so different from most of our American things! Offered as the set of 3 in the chart.

Les Petits Ciseaux from Lili Soleil by way of Dessins DHC - click to see moreLes Petits Ciseaux from Lili Soleil
Small Scissors... these are really pretty charts of embroidery scissors -- any and all of which -- I'd LOVE to actually have!!! Offered as a chart, the 7 pair can be stitched as one piece, or individually -- wouldn't they be neat as fronts of scissor cases??? Average stitch count of each one is approx 60 x 25.

The package does contain instructions for making small scissor cases, and threads used are regular DMC... what a fun set of charts! Printed with both French and English instructions.

Christmas Balls from Marie Suarez
Christmas Balls from Marie Suarez by way of Dessins DHC - click to see more Christmas Balls from Marie Suarez by way of Dessins DHC - click to see moreHere's a neat idea for tree ornaments! By Marie Suarez, these delightful little balls are actually 6 pieces of fabric joined together. She offers 3 different sizes of balls -- stitched on 32ct, the little one is only 2-1/2 inches in diameter, medium is 3 inches and the largest one is a little over 4 inches in size.

Tiny holiday motifs stitched on each piece... they are darling! Offered as a chart, finishing instructions are offered in both French and English! Too cute!

Les Petits Sapins from Lili Soleil by way of Dessins DHC - click to see more Les Petits Sapins from Lili Soleil
Small Fir Trees... I think this is just a charming piece! Offered as a chart, the stitch count is 236 x 73... and it can be stitched on almost anything.

Simply DMC B5200 white, 319 green and 839 browns... you could choose some pretty overdyeds from you stash for an extra splash of greenery. I just love it! Printed in both French and English.

Les Coucous from Lili Soleil by way of Dessins DHC - click to see moreLes Coucous from Lili Soleil
Cou-Cou Clocks! Another charming design by Lili Soleil Designs, presented in French and English -- with DMC flosses suggested -- we never see Cou-Cou clocks!!!

I love them... my parents had one... Dad was in charge of winding it up! Pretty little charts, each clock averages 60 x 60 stitches. Charming!

Pere Noel - A Santa Scissor Keeper and Pin Holder from Dessins - click to see morePere Noel - A Santa Scissor Keeper and Pin Holder
THIS is darling! An Olde-Worlde Santa, stitched over one thread on 32ct, he is two-sided, and has a top and bottom! Stitched with DMC flosses, the charts are clear, and instructions to assemble (presented in both French and English) include actual finishing photos. Santa is approx 3 x 5. He stores your scissors inside... they are tied to that red ribbon coming out of the top.

On Santa's back... is his sack full of 'toys' -- a darling set of Butterfly Couture hand-made clay-topped Christmas pins! The little 'basket' is a thimble sized piece that is stitched over two threads, cut out, stuffed and attached to the back. Pins stick in like a pin cushion.

This is precious! It is so unique, on the large side for an ornament... I think it should hang on your tree every year anyway! What a fantastic way to hide scissors, pins, and maybe even a few needles!!!!!! CHARMING!!! Presented in chart format with Christmas Pins.

Battledore -- An English Hornbook from Dessins - click to see moreBattledore -- An English Hornbook
This is a charming design -- a learning tool -- used in France and then England in the late 1700's. Dessins has re-created the small racket shape of hornbooks and battledores, and added the 'pages' that battledores featured, to bring us this delightful little story board/book! Full of alphabets, short lists of words and sounds, some out-of-order letters, and a little fable or story, this pack includes the charts for all, assembly instructions, and the 4-1/8 x 9 x 1/8 paddle!

Stitched on 32ct, it uses DMC flosses, and is plain cross stitch. Our story is about 'The Boy and the Dog.' 'Here is Rex, true friend of John. He enjoys fetching the ball or stick that John throws far away. He wags his tail when he is happy. He will bark but he will not bite.' Your Battledore pages are mounted to the front of the paddle, and open like a trifold. So unique! Offered as the charts with paddle... directly from France!!

A Flowerfall -- Cascade de Fleurs from Dessins - click to see moreA Flowerfall -- Cascade de Fleurs
Straight from France, we are treated to a delicate floral piece that is full of tiny pink flowers scattered everywhere! Stitched on 32ct linen, in three shades of DMC floss -- 778, 819 and 3726, it finishes approx 6 x 9 on 32ct. You could choose one color of pink hand-dyed silk or cotton for this -- that would be exquisite, as well.

Stitches featured include Cross, Straight, Smyrna and Eyelet... nothing too difficult... but enough to add lots of delicate texture and charm! I can see this finished -- stitching right up to the edges -- into an elegant pillow for a guest room bed. If the room isn't pink -- just change that color! Chart is lovely and clear.

The Heart of the Embroiderer from Dessins - click to see moreThe Heart of the Embroiderer
Another study in monochromatic charm, this piece is a tribute to your love of needlework. It's full of little hearts, your initials and the alphabet, and lots of needlework incidentals. Tiny spools of threads, buttons, pins and scissors are scattered everywhere. Stitched on any 32ct, it finishes approx 8 x 12, and in the pic, is stitched with DMC flosses of 778, 224, 3726 and 3802.

If pink doesn't 'float your boat!', choose something that does, hand-dyed or solid! Stitches used are really the same -- just with different names! Cross Stitches, Straight, Back, Stem and Running! Offered as a chart.

Renaissance Stitcher's Jewels from Dessins - click to see moreRenaissance Stitcher's Jewels
THIS is cool! It is a Pin Keep and Scissor Sheath set, but with 'turbo' embellishments! Stitched on 32ct in only one color of DMC floss --you could choose any overdyed color of cotton or silk that you wish, as well! The 2 x 2 x 1 pin keep has a floral stitched border all around the sides, but the top and bottom are that lovely gold metal filigree!!! NO STITCHING on the top or bottom -- both are completely covered by that beautiful 1-3/4 inch gold embellishment!

Next, the matching sheath features a 1-1/2 x 3/4 inch teardrop shaped filigree to trim its tip. Easy stitching, lots of great finishing/assembly pictures and steps, and those pretty metal pieces, this is SO unique! Offered as the chart/embellishments.

Rose Fantasy Stitcher's Accessories from Dessins - click to see moreRose Fantasy Stitcher's Accessories
This is a pretty set of scissor fob, biscornu cushion and matching pin keep. The chart contains two different rose designs -- one is stitched in red, the other in blue... but, of course, you can choose any colors you wish!

Very simple and very pretty... stitch it over one or two threads... the main design is 60 x 60 stitches, so our model pics show them all over one thread. Offered as the charts.

Grand Biscornu -- Collection d'Epingles from Dessins - click to see moreGrand Biscornu -- Collection d'Epingles
'For your collection of pretty pins,' this Grande Biscornu announces with a flourish!!! Actually, HUGE, as most biscornu shapes we're used to go, this has designs on each side, and boasts a stitch count of 121 x 121!

It's a neat way to display all your pretty pins -- the Just Nan Charm Garden Pins (From the USA!), the fun Butterfly Couture pins (From France), and our GPA Majolicas (From Italy!)... or just some regular ones (From Walmart!)
Charming, colorful floral design, this is offered as the chart.
