 Halloween Markings  Heart in Hand has released a new set of tiny Halloween designs all surrounded by an easy border... cute, and offered as leaflets and cards. Eat, Drink and Be Scary is the verse offered in the border chart. Each of the six smaller boxes are available in small chart format, and there is an optional embellishment pack for the border, as well. DARLING... I do have to be honest... I think this is a bit *pricey* for the entire set. Border leaflet is nice... but inside... shows each of the six blocks EMPTY! (There was plenty of room in that leaflet for those 6 charts..) Christmas Markings -- Ornaments OR a Main Piece!  Heart in Hand is introducing a new set of designs -- offered as 12 small cards, with a separate border leaflet -- that allows plenty of time to finish before next Christmas!!! 'I will honor Christmas in my heart and try to keep it all the year...' is the featured verse that surrounds 12 - 23 x 23 (stitch count) areas...  each area filled with a small design from one of the Christmas Markings small card charts. (Check this out... if you have 12 OTHER tiny designs that you want to use... maybe they'd fit inside this neat border, too!!!) Anyway, the entire design measures 3 x 22 on 32ct linen. It is embellished with a set of 14 hand-made mini clay buttons... and is stitched in Weeks and Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Halloween is a Hoot and Night WatchTwo of Heart in Hand's newest Bits 'n Pieces... These two designs come separately in a small card format. They happen to be the same height... so I think you should just extend that 'Hoot' border a bit, and tuck the owl and pumpkin right there after the words!  Birds of a FeatherNow this is CUTE! Offered as a leaflet, you're treated to a family of assorted birds... all 'flocking together!' You get a hen, rooster, blackbird, cardinal, owl, wren, turkey, dove and even a penguin... all standing there -- cute as can be! Stitched on 32ct Summer Khaki Linen, it measures just 3 x 7, and features a couple of clay bird buttons to add to the menagerie.  2005 Wool WhimseysA smaller version -- 1-1/2 x 2-3/4 -- of last year's little Wool Whimseys... the 2005 set is detailed and charming!!!!! Offered over monthly during 2005, you can stitch each individually or keep adding to them on one piece of fabric till they're all released. Available as small, complete kits, each month features a bit of Weeks hand-dyed wool and a Barbie, Ken, or Poindexter clay button embellishment or two! The entire year (It's really cute!) is pictured here and available to purchase all at once, now that the series is complete. 
The next installment in the set of 12 designs this year, September's, is a little house -- possibly a schoolhouse? The complete kit contains the 32ct natural linen, the overdyed flosses, needle, and clay and wool embellishment pieces. Unassuming by themselves, this set looks awesome all displayed together! The entire piece is featured on the back of each kit... but if you're done them individually... you (or your finisher) could always attach them together into a hanging. If you've been collecting these... in the ever-present stash... and want a single piece of linen to do the whole set... we have it! 
Finished, this will measure approx 4 x 19, so a 1/8-yard cut works beautifully! (leave two or three spaces between each month's design.) Lots of fun, because of all the wool and button embellishments, you can take the small pieces of fabric out of the kits, and use them for other small designs, so they don't go to waste!
