A beautifully sophisticated selection of county primitives, by artist Shawn Williams, these are worth a second look... and definitely deserve your needle's attention! Over-the-top luscious DMC flosses (NOT funky overdyeds that are hard to find!) are used to create her bold and classic designs! She includes a HUGE piece of pre-stamped weaver's cloth so you can fit these in a large hoop or frame easily, and stamping are clear and dark.
I think Threads That Bind is the best Punch Needle Artist in the industry... our shop models are ALWAYS showstoppers, and she commands that attention with good 'ol DMC!!!
The Drumstick Dancers 4 x 7, The background on this is a mixture in your needle of 310 black and 934 dark green.
Chartreuse spots in the background, soft tan for the hens... pretty darn classy for a chicken-kitchen!!!
Bless This House 11 x 6-1/2, The sunflowers in this are bright and bold, lots of browns and dark greens... very funky and fresh!
Prancing Pony 4-3/4 x 4, I LOVE the deep red background of this, and that penny rug border! DMC 498 and 3857 for the background, the pony is 3021. Pennies are punched with a variety of DMCs called for. Classic, and much smaller than lots of Shawn's other pieces!
Grandma's House A neatly-kept house, lavish garden and lots of birds... the flag is a little saggy, but Grandma has been busy tending to that property!!! Finishing 4 x 8.
Grand Champion Well... sheep are always a favorite in the Punch Needle World, and this one will be no exception! 5 x 7, the checkerboard background is 371 and 422.
Sheep is a medly of 310, 844, and 645. Isn't he awesome???
Vegetable Garden Oh, I love this one! All those good things growing in the soil... I remember being AMAZED that my grandparents KNEW what was under there when they pulled something, or dug up potatoes!!! (How did they know that????)
Finishes a mere 3 x 5... great brilliant color, just cute!
Tulip Field That's one big, fat, fluffy sheep! 3-3/8 inch square, his background is kind of neat!
Greener Pastures Wow... a chicken, pig and sheep trio... couldn't ask for more!
Finishes 4-3/4 square, these three barnyard friends take care of all State Fair Blue Ribbons you'll win!
Uncle Sam's Hey, this is cool! Tiny Farmhouse, Huge Barn and Silo, (which rank higher in Mr Farmer's budget!), and that glorious Americana flag protecting all... this is a wonderful patriotic piece!
Finishes approx 4 x 6.

Great Pumpkin! Shawn Williams of Threads That Bind has 4 AWESOME new Punch Needle designs that are full of silly Halloween whimsy, and incredibly intense fall color. I chose Great Pumpkin to showcase here... because I love the fact that the moon silhouetting the house is really a big, fat pumpkin!!!
Threads That Bind is undoubtedly the best Punch Needle designer out there... her stuff has such great color sense, none of it is too 'busy' or 'sloppy.' She uses good old fashioned DMC flosses in her designs -- so yours WILL turn out looking as good as the original, (you can actually find the thread at a shop!) and her designs all come clearly pre-stamped on HUGE pieces of antiqued Weaver's cloth. (Huge means like a 14 x 16 piece... so you can get it into a nice large hoop or stand.) Of all our shop models... hers are the ones that always draw the comments and inquiries! Make sure you see the other three!
Hilda Is she over-the-top, or what???
Hilda punches approx 5-1/2 inches square, and features a row of light-colored punches all around to highlight her!
Remember, the roiling background is simply different colors of DMC!
Pumpkin Pie I guess this little crow is 'bring'in home the bacon' for his Thanksgiving pie!!! Classic checkerboard border... this finishes approx 4-1/2 x 10.
The included chunk of Weaver's is a whopping 18 x 20! Background is punched in 830, 831 and 832... she tells you not to even mix it in the needle... just punch with a length, then change colors here and there.
Trick or Treat I LOVE this green cyclops spider... he's leaving the web, complete with his Jack-O-Lantern Trick or Treat pail... to get the goods!!! How Charming!!!
He measures approx 5-1/2 inches square, and is punched in DMC #580 green! Talk about personality!
In The PastureThreads That Bind has released 4 new punch needle designs that are awesome! In The Pasture is just one... and definitely my personal favorite! It's a round piece that finishes approx 10 inches in diameter -- quite large compared to most PN pieces -- and is punched in DMC flosses, not overdyeds! Eight sheep surround the wildflowers in the pasture. So full of color and charm! Pre-stamped onto an 18 x 20 piece of weaver's cloth, this is punched with a larger needle, and uses all six strands of floss at once! Check out the other three new pieces, as well!
Freedom TrailThe sheep, rabbit and goose are all steadfast in their parade! They're in a hurry going somewhere, as the flag is floating boldly behind! Finishes into a 6 x 9 oval, this is punched with all 6 strands of DMC floss in a larger needle, and the design is pre-stamped onto a generous 14 x 16 cut of weaver's cloth. Love the checkerboard grass!
Hillside HavenThe sheep grazing on the front lawn of the southern plantation... very quiet and picturesque! Punched with a 3-strand needle, with 3 ply of Weeks overdyed flosses, this finishes approx 5 x 5, and is just charming!
Chalkboard LessonA smart alphabet is punched amidst a checkerboard chalkboard! Super-hard to see in the pic, but the background is a checkerboard of DMC 3021 and 3371. The house and flower seem to sprout in an instant... bursts of color against the dark background. Very striking, this is a very pretty piece! Finishes approx 5 x 5 on the weaver's cloth, the piece is then 'matted' with a piece of Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed houndstooth wool.
Shepard's ShadeFinishes approx 6 x 12, DMC flosses, lots of gray, and sage green, it's bordered by a band of burgundy that really sets off the colors! The design comes stamped onto weaver's cloth. She gives you a huge 18 x 20 PIECE, so that you can get the entire design into your hoop or frame all at once. Actually quite a simple design to punch, this one lets the DMC flosses do the work of the color changes... simply thread the needle with a new color in the background and grass.
Peace On EarthMulberry and Apple Cider, Cinnamon and Maple Syrup... even though these are
some of the Sampler Thread colors called for in this design, they seem to
set the tone for describing the design!!! Finishing approx 5 x 5, this is Christmas without a bright punch. Very subtle and elegant.
Petite PinsIsn't this a cute way to display a set of small designs? Ours are punched only 1-1/2 inches in diameter and mounted onto covered buttons. THEN, they are attached to a little 'tuffet' of assorted fabrics! Like a pin cushion, everything is displayed beautifully, the extra fabric colors deliver a punch of interest, and no tiny pieces get lost! This set of six designs celebrates the 4 Seasons along with Valentines and the 4th of July! Real cute! All are presented as pre-stamped and arranged far enough apart for each to fit into your 5-inch hoop.

Guarded GateGrapes and Grays... look at the *round* sky, the *round* ravens, the round ironwork, the round moon, and the round hill. Then notice the *square* house, and finally the points and pricks of the stars and trees! This piece is bursting with imagination and personality!!!
Christmas EvePeaceful and thoughtful... I love the little reindeer... he looks like a puppy! Finishes approx 4 x 6.
Prize PumpkinA luscious punched penny rug by Threads That Bind... our charming little piece is worked entirely in DMC flosses, and finished with a Weeks Wool piped edge, and wool backing. One of Shawn's two newest releases, this comes with the line drawing already stamped onto your weaver's cloth. The little rug finishes a generous 6 x 8-1/2, and is FULL of awesome fall color. Rich greens, cinnamons and rusts, she's used some teals, burnt reds... everything just blends so beautifully... the shop model is a SHOWSTOPPER! Threads That bind is one of our favorite punch needle designers. She has great color sense, and designs with a classy and contemporary flair!
Frosty FlakesWell, here's a little guy that we refuse to believe is made from old snow! He's not quite the whitest of snowmen.. but he is so cool (pardon the pun) anyway!!! Punched with a background of Bayberry Sampler Threads and a body of Wood Smoke... the colors make it look like dusk. After the punching is done, the pattern calls for Mill Hill frosted white glass beads, which are sewn on in a random pattern. It's amazing how those tiny beads catch the light, and look like wet snowflakes against the evening sky! Offered as the outline prestamped onto the weavers cloth, this finishes approx 4-1/2 inches square.
Billowing Blooms
A commanding basket of stylized flowers measuring an impressive 11 x 3, this would be stunning as a cube-shaped stand-up on a bookshelf, or framed in an elaborate antique frame! (You'll need a larger hoop for this one.)
Sunday Social
Another exquisite 11 x 3 design, punch the flock of sheep in Harvest Basket, Shaker White, Flax, Parchment, then pick something for that darker little guy! Flowers are Gingersnap and Mulberry colors!
 Country Layers
One of my personal favorites... this is a barn straight from Kansas!!! Sunflowers, crows, the sheep and rabbits in the pastures and fields, the background 'layers' give this so much design movement and
balance... it just 'feels good!' Finishes approx 4-1/2 x 6-1/2.
Queen Anne Sampler
A stylized floral basket, complete with blocked alphabet... Persimmon seems to be the up-and-coming design color these days in home decor... Apple Cider and Brandy are the featured background and the persimmon colored flowers. They sound elegant... but then add Tin Bucket for the urn! (I love the names of the overdyeds... the pattern name is graceful, the colors sound wonderful...then you get 'Tin Bucket!' Actually, it's a wonderful color, too... the names just bring tease your mind!!!) Queen Anne Sampler measures approx 6 x 6... sophisticated/primitive.
Home Sweet Home
Kind of a contemporary feel to this one! Lots of blues and browns... the red brick house throws in some color. HSH finishes approx 6 x 6. Very balanced, very quilt-like. I like the fact that the flowers on the sides are punched in 'left-over pieces' of whatever flosses you want to include! Kind of like a handmade quilt!
Punchneedle Pouch
This is for you over-achievers... those of you who can actually make and finish a special case for your punch needles!!! Instead of a boring, lifeless, PLASTIC, un-loving and impersonal box for your needles... you could show your love of stitching by making this darling case for your beloved needles! They would be very happy, and promise to deliver great loops from now to eternity! Finishing approx 7-1/2 x 2, I think it needs a letter 'S' on the end... as this is a special case that welcomes ANY brand of punch needle!!! Punch Needle Pouch finishing instructions included... along with master shape of case pre-stamped onto the weaver's cloth as well!
Checkered Bouquet
Another floral urn with an ATTITUDE! This piece is done in regular DMC flosses - something we don't see too much of in the Punch Needle World. Finishing approx 6 x 6, there are different pile depths in this one... really adding to texture and excitement!
Freedom Voyage
A big 'ol whale swimming with the flag... the 4th of July must be coming!!! Cute and nautical... perfect for a lake house! Finishes approx 6 x 3.
Soft Perch
I love this one! That peaceful sheep is standing in a field of lavender... with his bird friend softly perched on his back! Pretty color, (the flowers are punched in Sugarplum and Blueberry) this finishes approx 5-1/2 x 4. Background is Tarnished Gold. Very Country French!
 Fruit Salad
Very geometric, very balanced, very clean... 5 fruits beg to be cut and arranged! An Eggplant and Kudzu background -- dark purple and mossed green -- the fruits are bright bits of color in the Palomino-colored bowl. Finishes approx 4-1/2 x 4-1/2.
 Fall Portrait
I love this kind of Halloween thing! You get the dark sky... the menacing spider... and the scared cat! The green 'slits' in the border are like cat's eyes... and all the color swirls in the background add lots of dramatics!!! Finishes approx 4-1/2 x 4-1/2.
 Pumpkin Patch
Oh, I hope you can see this one OK. It's circular, and a design of the pumpkins growing on the vine... only they look like they've been carved already! Darling design, this measures approx 6 inches round when finished. No top or bottom side... this is perfect finished onto something like the little box that's shown here. All the Jack-o-Lanterns seem quite happy tonight!!!
 Sleepy Hollow
Wow... four 2-1/2 inch round designs... this is a darling set of Halloween creatures! The models are finished over one of our 2-1/2 inch Finishing Forms. Offered separately from the design pack, my definite favorite is that 'awful' green pumpkin-witch!!! Punch one, or all four!
My World This is a really cool punch needle piece that we have had in the shop this Fall... but I've somehow missed showing you on-line!!! One of my personal favorites... it is a round scene of a village in the four seasons! By Threads That Bind, it punches into a 6-inch round little rug, that we have perched on top of a painted shaker box.
Look closely... you see the city in the Fall, farmyard in the Spring, seashore in the Summer, and mountains in the Winter. Lots of fun detail and pretty colors, this design is so unique and really charming! Offered as the design stamped onto khaki-colored weaver's cloth, you supply your punch needles and floss.
Farmstead Pigs, sheep, chicks and corn... all surrounding this charming farm scene... this piece is just delightful! One of the newest by Threads That Bind, I love the shape of it all, that picket fence going all around, the waving flag, and the chubby little pig sniffing the corn!
Punched with a #3 needle, using Gentle Art Sampler Threads, this finishes a generous 6 x 6. Offered as the design stamped onto weaver's cloth... use threads from your stash.
Petunia Pig Well, if this isn't the cutest pig... ! Punched in Weeks and Sampler Threads with a #3 needle, Petunia finishes approx 5 x 3-1/2... and needs to be perched on your kitchen windowsill, above the sink! Offered as the design stamped into weaver's cloth, I think she's precious!
Night Watch I think this scarecrow is dressed in PJ's! Great color -- all punched with the #3 needle in Sampler Threads, this little guy finishes approx 5 x 5. Offered as the design stamped on weavers cloth, this is very classy!
A Bee C Sampler Very primitive, lots of long and skinny design lines in this -- I think that's the charm of it! Finishing an impressive 6 x 6, punched entirely in Sampler Threads, the flag has so much movement, doesn't the watermelon look like it can rock back and forth?
Year Round Here's a fun set of 2-1/2 inch covered button seasonal pins perfectly punched! (We do have the round finishing forms for these... really easy to use.) Offered as the designs all stamped onto weavers cloth, these are all punched in overdyeds with a #1 needle. Darling!
