Tomatoes & PumpkinsLili Points has more cool French designs that beg to hang in your kitchen!!! Pumpkins and Tomatoes... I can't read a word on them (because I don't know French!), but I just love the flowing font, and the relaxed motifs! Coded for DMC floss, I can read the stitch count and colors... and I guess I could go to a translation site to type in the verses to see what they mean... Each is offered as the chart and finishes approx 12-1/2 square on 32ct! Quite generous in size! I chose 6 other designs to bring into the shop... so click the pic to see the rest! | |
 The Sea, Lifesaver Ring & Blue Sea Lili Points has three nautical-themed pieces that I really like! We had to go to the internet to try to interpret what they say... and I think we did pretty well. I cannot tell anywhere on the patterns if they actually have formal names... so I guessed! The first, The Sea, translates to say; Free man, you will always 'cherish' (this word didn't translate well) the
sea. Just a restful lighthouse and a very free seagull! Next, is a big life-preserver... it reads... The sea is just as deep in calm or in storm. Kind of calms the problems life seems to deliver our way. Third, is Blue Sea. It reads as a medley of words; boats on water, shells, gulls and blue. This pattern comes with a pale aqua-blue mother-of-pearl fish button embellishment! All three are wispy, windblown and belong in a beach house!!! I love them! Each is offered as a chart, and generally finish approx 10 x 10 on a 32ct. | |

Both are offered as charts, stitched in regular cross stitches in a medley of white, coral, garnet, orange spice, and soft browns. Not your typical holiday color palette, but these somehow, really work! Stitched on 32ct, they finish approx 12 and 13 inches square -- actually pretty large. Like all the rest of Lili Point's designs, these two are charming, fresh, clean and young looking. The recipes sound good, too! Recipe for Christmas and A Medley of TreesTwo more Lili Point designs for Christmas that are just delightful! That little medley of trees is just the best! You can stitch it as is... or think about doing single trees as small ornaments... lining them all up side-by-side for a long, skinny piece... or even simply stitching your favorite two or three! Recipe for Christmas is a companion to the Gingerbread and Snowman Recipes, I like the simple lines and fresh flavor to these designs. The recipe finishes approx 13 x 13, while the trees measure in at a whopping 16 x 18!!! You can do some serious fabric count changes with that one! The Trees chart includes a few red glass bead embellishments, while the Recipe includes some brass stars and a red star for one of the tree tops. | |
