Just like the Snowman, Santa and Halloween Boxes we have, these are fun paper boxes, trimmed with bits of rik-rak and glitter, they measure approx 3-3/4 x 2-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches.  Vintage Snowmen and Santa Boxes!OHHH, such an awesome collection of vintage snowmen and Santa designs grace the tops of these small boxes... simply stitch a bit to tuck inside, and you have a really cool gift or sit-about!  USA, Firecracker and Pumpkin Scissor FobsPrairie Moon has 4 wild, new scissor fob kits that are Over-The-Top-Cute dressed with seasonal embellishments! For the sake of space on our Just Arrived Page, we're picturing the USA set here, and tucking the Halloween set onto PM's inside web pages. So... enjoy the little Star Fob and Firecracker Fob! Simple designs stitched with overdyed flosses, they finish a petite 2 x 2 on 32ct. Dressed with your twisted cord, what makes them so cute are all the extra embellishments Prairie Moon has added to the bottoms! Scissors pictured are not included... but all the hanging trinkets ARE! You're going to get a painted tin star that measures 1-3/4 inches from tip to tip and a little stuffed stars and stripes bird that is 2-1/2 inches long, along with some glittery stars and fun beads.  On the First Day of Christmas... Prairie Moon has been working on this set of stockings for some time... and we are now up to the 4th Day! #1 Is pictured here... it companions Day Two. Days 3 and 4 feature more of the primitive village scenery, but with different trees and houses. Each Day has it's featured gift... #1 has the Partridge in the Pear Tree. #2 Features the Two Calling Birds... you get the idea! Kind of the same, kind of different from each other, offered in chart format... each is stitched on 28ct linen in overdyeds, and finishes approx 15 inches high and 9 inches wide at the toe.  Freedom TrainThe latest of Prairie Moon's 'Train' designs... you'll find the tiny train chugging through the countryside... which is always bustling with it's seasons activities. Freedom Train is full of summertime patriotic motifs -- an eagle, the Statue of Liberty, flags, the Liberty Bell, firecrackers, and all the trees and farms that a little train would pass on it's journey.  There Was An Old Woman Who lived in a shoe! (Don't you ever *really wonder* what all those ridiculous nursery rhymes we grew up with meant???) Well, this one IS one scary shoe!  The Queen of HeartsSo colorful... it pulls me into the world of Alice in Wonderland!!! Lots of bold overdyeds in this one -- Cherry Bark, Rhubarb, Antique Rose, Mulberry, Raspberry Parfait, and Indian Summer -- just to mention the reds -- something about this one draws everyone to it! The flowers along the top and sides are really stunning. Notice that the flowers below the Qs are tiny hearts! 1st, 2nd and 3rd Day of Christmas StockingsThis is an awesome set of Spot Motif stocking designs -- very primitive in feel. #1 and #2 are my personal favorites... but you'll recognize the poem's components in each part... and Three French Hens do not need that cool tree that part one and two have! Anyway, Prairie Moon's signature style of her little train chugging through the countryside scattered with charming details, these are simply a different Christmas Stocking style than most others on the market! Sophisticated and classy! Each is offered as a chart, and finishes approx 9 x 15 on 28ct, stitched in overdyeds. Parts 1, 2 and 3 exist now. No release dates for the other 9. | |
 Home of the FreeWow, this is kind of normal and straight for Prairie Moon!! Perfectly squared buildings -- an organized little town -- lovely, colonial motifs -- this belongs in a Family Room, or a neat office!  Witch Boot?Oh my gosh, this is absolutely Over-The-Top Funky and Halloween Cute! (There is a companion boot/stocking to this -- Mr BonesJangle -- pictured on the Prairie Moon page, so don't miss it!) Stitched on 30ct 18th Century Rook Hand-dyed linen by R & R (pricey, but really cool)... in Weeks overdyed flosses and a touches of steel gray and purple metallics, this HAS to be finished into the cool shape you see in the pic... it is just so fun and different!!! Offered as the chart, it's presented actual size, so you have the perfect outline stencil/shape for your boot. Then... check out all the fun things going on in here! A haunted house with a spooky tree in the yard, the RIP, silly little bat and nasty-looking spider... its all to complement the 'lady of the house and boot'... the little witch! The stitch count is 173 x 129, but the actual boot will measure approx 10 x 14. It's backed with Weeks Eggplant Wool, which we do carry, but you'll need lining fabric and buttons to completely finish this wonderful piece! jacket!!! Stitched on the same 30ct 18th Century Rook Hand-dyed linen, in
bright, vibrant overdyeds of Fire, Marigold, Fiesta, Hot Rod and Squash, to
name a few of the more obnoxious shades (!), this, too is presented in the
full-sized chart, so you have that great outlined shape for finishing. Mr BoneJangles is backed with Weeks Kohl Wool, and features lots of the same design elements as his girlfriend's piece -- the moon, stars, bat and spider... and the overall creativity of this wild set!  Ghoul Train -- in Punch NeedlePrairie Moon has converted some of their newest and cutest designs into Punch Needle patterns! Ghoul Train is popular in Cross Stitch, and this version has even more impact and vibrant color! (They've done Angel Train, too!) Finishing approx 5-1/4 x 6-1/2, this is punched with a one-strand needle in Sampler Threads. Background is Black Crow, and Skeletons are Oatmeal, while everything else is punched in awesome colors like Fragrant Cloves, Gold Leaf, Bittersweet, Burnt Orange, Sugarplum, Spring Grass, and a bunch of others. Everything really 'pops' on that black background... so you see all the delightfully scary little design elements. Offered as the line drawing you'll need to trace onto weaver's cloth, the instructions have a larger diagram sheet as well -- just like a paint-by-number -- for thread placement. We really suggest a sturdy Morgan Stand for this, or one of the K's Creations Punch Frames for working this design.  Angel Train in Punch Needle!Prairie Moon's Cross-Stitched Angel Train takes on a new personality when its punched in overdyeds!!! Measuring approx 5 x 6-1/2, just like Ghoul Train... you have a wonderful, rich Black Crow background interrupted by a medley of little angels, snowmen, stars and pine trees, houses and churches, and the namesake Angel Train. Raspberry Parfait and Straw Bonnet angels, Grape Leaf, Bayberry and Chamomile trees, and Brandy stars, this is just charming! Again, we recommend a sturdy Morgan Hoop or Stand, or one of the K's Creations Round About Frames. Lots of punching in this... you'll welcome the heavy-duty hoop or stand.  Holiday FarmHere's a new Prairie Moon design -- just like the 'Train' designs that are composed of teeny-weeny motifs all jammed together in a herky-jerky-quirky fashion -- these always turn out cute! Holiday is in the title... but I'm not sure what holiday this is supposed to depict... so I've decided its an 'Everyday Holiday!' Maybe its Valentines Day because of the heart in the middle, but I see turkeys above that, a bird with a flag for his tail over by the right-hand edge, and a Christmas Tree down in the lower right corner. Lots of luscious overdyes of Crimson, Holly, Juniper, Rum Raisin, Lancaster Red, Red Pear, Oak, Palomino, Chestnut and Dried Sage on a 28ct this will finish approx 8-1/2 x 7. Offered as the chart, these are fun to stitch, because you finish little bit and pieces all along. | |
 Ghoul TrainThis is one of three seasonal designs by Prairie Moon that is just the most fun collection of miniature mischief you'll ever stitch! Joining Spring Trainin' and Angel Train... these are so cute! Offered as charts, each follows the same basic design format. The train is the common motif in there... look for it in the middle. Now... each is full of differences from the other. Stitched on 32ct, and finishing approx 8 x 10, you'll use lots of overdyed flosses -- lots on the borders, but bits in the center. Beautiful borders of motifs surrounded by modern black and white squares... this could go really antique and primitive -- or really funky-modern! Ghoul features little skeletons, bats, spiders, ghosts, spooky houses, pumpkins and black cats... and those pairs of spooky eyes on the scary hands!  Angel TrainThis one is Christmas and Winter!!! Lots of golds and cinnamon overdyeds

jumping reindeer, an Old Worlde Santa down there towards the bottom... that
little train again... and lots of cozy cottages nestles between the
