A fun pattern of Gingher Scissors... limited in release and availability... these were a *One-Time-Hot-Buy* for me at Market last weekend! Top quality stainless steel scissors, the Sarah pattern is a soft apple green scattered with coral, buttermilk, and deep, brilliant aqua flowers. VERY pretty.

Gingher Roberta Limited Edition Scissors
Kiwi & Lime -- Totally Retro! The newest patterned scissors by Gingher... Roberta is a floral design of light aqua, white and lime green. Offered in the 8-inch Shear, 5-inch Sewing, and 4-inch Embroidery sizes... we've been waiting all Spring and Summer for these! Gingher started advertising them last May... so I hope they don't seem 'old' to you!!!
Top quality, each scissor comes in a gift box, and cushioned beautifully in a Gingher tin! Heavy in feel, very sturdy to work with... and still pretty! Limited in Edition.

Available in 5-inch embroidery, I can tell you that Bianca's favorite foods are Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, Pineapple and Green Lettuce Salad with Thousand Island dressing! Full of those colors... these have a bright, Caribbean flavor to them. (Now... wouldn't it be cool if some of the designers started designing fun little stitched liners for these tins??? We could take out the paper liner, and cushion our scissors amidst stitchery that matches them!!! Little crabs and pineapple drinks come to mind!!!)

Gingher's Spring-Action ScissorsOh my... these are WONDERFUL for cutting! Gingher has introduced a new
concept in their shear and embroidery scissor line, for
needleworkers. These are the same excellent quality scissor we have always
been used to, but feature a spring (somewhere in there... but I don't know
where!) that keeps the scissor blades OPEN. To cut, you'll be squeezing them closed a bit, not trying to open the blades. The difference is hand fatigue! If you cut for long periods of time, or simply lots of fabric... your thumb won't hurt from the strain of trying to open the scissors with each stroke. Kind of hard to explain with a few words... but trust me... these are incredible! (We've replaced all our scissors down at the shop cutting table with these!) That little gold flap on them is the closure lock. It keeps the blades together when you're not cutting. (I think these look so strange... like something my Grandmother would have had... and I would have never been able to touch them... because they were her 'good' scissors...) Available in both the 4 inch embroidery and 8 inch
shear size... you're going to love both sizes!
