Great finishing ideas - especially with the ornaments -- each packet contains the pre-stamped punch needle outlines, color instruction, and even some coffee or tea dying instructions to give your finished piece a little extra in the 'distressed' area! Scarecrow JackStone & Thread has released two cross-stitch pieces and four new punch needle designs. Scarecrow Jack is just one of the new... and since I loved his colors, I thought he'd be the one to feature! A very quick-punch, he measures approx 4-3/4 x 3-1/4 and needs to be finished into a little block or cube to perch on your kitchen windowsill.  Strawberry SamplerStone & Thread has released two new punch needle pieces that are alphabet samplers! We aren't used to seeing this kind of design... and I just LOVE both of them! Finishing approx 6-3/4 x 3-3/4, Strawberry Sampler is punched with overdyeds, and features little skinny, old-fashioned and primitive lettering. It would be *awesome* tucked between cross-stitched samplers on your wall. Offered as the pre-stamped design on weaver's cloth. Garden Sampler is her other new release... take a peek! | |||
 Garden SamplerAnother unusual alphabet sampler done in punch needle... this one finishes approx 3-1/4 x 5-1/4... and is just charming! Finish it into a standing cube to perch on a shelf, or frame it to tuck between your samplers. It would even make a cute pillow center... but its not too big!  More EggsStone & Thread has released 7 new punch needle designs... and I thought that More Eggs was quite the timely one to show you, even though Easter has passed. The pattern comes with the templates to transfer to the provided weaver's cloth. Each little egg finishes approx 2-1/2 x 4 and is punched in your choices of DMC or overdyed flosses. Chick and Bunny Bags is a companion to this design. Obviously, you won't have enough time to finish these before Easter THIS year... but think about next year -- and plan ahead! (heaven forbid!) Some of S & T's designs call for Valdani overdyed flosses -- which we now carry in the 6-strand skeins! Also new, is the Weeks Dye Works 3-Strand floss on a spool -- PERFECT for punch needle! Valdani is not in our shopping cart system, so you'll have to write it into the comments box... but the Weeks is! | |||
