Packaged in 5-yard, continous-length skeins, each color is overdyed with various colors, to produce monochromatic blends, as well as medleys of coordinating colors -- some to match the seasons! Weeks overdyeds are great to use for twisted cord finishing, too, as they are available in a continuous length. Did You Know... Weeks Dye Works has released 25 of their top-selling colors in a 3-ply embroidery floss format. Perfect for the Punch Needle scene... and offered on a tiny cone so it nevvvveeerrrr ends... it's fantastic for punch needle -- just what the doctor ordered!!! As a cross-stitcher who uses 2-ply of floss, this is not something you'll want, but as a puncher who needs three strands, this is the next best thing to sliced bread! Offered on little spools, each holds 30 yds... so compared to the 6-strand skeins... it's actually a little less money. Good News! Offered individually, we have all 25 colors at $5.00 each.  Hand-dyed Linens from Weeks Dye Works Wow... Weeks Dye Works has begun to dye 30ct and 36ct linens following the color recipes of their overdyed flosses... so now you can complement linen colors to threads in your project! The consistent colors make project planning easier, because you know what color your hand-dyed linen is going to be! We do custom-cut linens in the shop, but for the sake of easier ordering through the shopping cart, we're offering 'Fat Quarter' cuts in our drop-downs. An approximate 18 x 27 inch size, you'll get plenty to work multiple projects -- easy to cut in half and share with a stitching friend, too! We can also cut design-size pieces for you. Prices are figured at 7 cents per square inch of custom-cut piece. So if you need a custom cut, just tell us in the comments box of the order form or the fabrics write-in box at the top of the Supplies page. | |
 Hand-dyed Weaver's Cloth for Punch Needle Here's a new twist on the plain weaver's cloth we've been using for Punch Needle Embroidery! Weeks Dye Works has chosen 10 of their floss colors, to dye onto our favorite ground material for PN! Since most Punch Needle designs are on the smaller side... we have divided our pieces into 'fat quarter yard' pieces for you. You'd punch your life away if you had to buy a whole yard of any color... so we've cut you 18 x 21 pieces... so you can treat your stash to more than one color!!! Large enough to fit into the generous Morgan hoops and the K's Creations Round-About Frames (there is a new larger one of those coming, too!), these pieces are large enough for several punch projects. The 10 colors released match Week's current floss and wool colors -- so check your stash for color reference.
